In-house vs agency marketing: which is for you?

Typically, this hybrid strategy (co-source marketing) involves retaining the brains (strategy by the in-house marketing manager) and outsourcing the hands and feet (content and execution by the agency). Especially for startups and SMEs with limited resources, this hybrid approach is usually characterized as being the most cost-effective option.
A very good read in my opinion for all business owners! Here are some typical questions that I'm sure most business owners constantly ask themselves when it comes to their Social Media accounts:
Should I hire an experienced social media manager with the know-how and experience, but whose value is more in higher level strategizing than the day-to-day social media execution?
Should I then also hire a Social Media Intern, but open the can of worms to endless cycles of onboarding, training, interviews every few months?
